Benjamin E. Allen

Benjamin E. Allen started with Parnassus Investments in July 2005 and became Co-Portfolio Manager of the Fixed-Income Fund in May 2007. He was promoted to Director of Research in early 2008. He began his career as a financial analyst in Morgan Stanley's investment banking division before moving into the firm's venture capital group. Ben received an AB in Government from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley. He interned with Parnassus during the summer of 2004.
