Todd C. Ahlsten

Todd Ahlsten began his career at Parnassus in 1994. During his senior year at UC Berkeley, Todd interned as an analyst at Parnassus. Upon graduation in 1994, he joined the firm full time as a Research Analyst. He was subsequently promoted to Director of Research in 1998 and in 2001 became Portfolio Manager for the Equity Income Fund and the Fixed Income Fund. He became Chief Investment Officer in 2008.
Todd is an ardent supporter of charitable organizations. His most recent contributions include Family House, an organization which provides housings near UCSF for parents who have children with cancer; and Haight Ashbury Free Medical Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides free medical services to people in need.
