Fund Highlights
- The Fixed-Income Fund invests in bonds of companies with generally good credit ratings, (At least 65% of its bonds are rated A or better).
- It invests in corporate bonds and some convertible bonds, as well as securities that finance moderate-income housing.
- The fund's objective is a high level of current income consistent with the safety and preservation of capital.
Fund Risks
- The fund invests in bonds, whose values are subject to changes in interest rates, the credit of the company, and the ability of the fund to sell the securities. Bond fund shares are not guaranteed and return of principal is not guaranteed. Bond fund's shares will fluctuate with the price of the underlying bonds and may be worth more or less than their original cost.
- The fund invests up to 20% of its assets in convertible securities, and these securities are generally riskier and more volatile.
